Skate park maintenance

The Town Council is carrying out some work on the hedge around the skate park.

We will be widening the entrance,  thinning the hedge near the entrance and cutting a new entrance from the football area.  This will make it easier for children to go between the skate park and near by play park, it will also help parents and passers-by to see into the skate park. 

Our aim is to make it a safer environment and encourage more people to use it.  We will not be removing any large trees and the majority of the hedge will remain to screen the skate park.
