The Charlbury Youth Town Council (CYTC) is a youth-led body established to empower young people
aged 11–18 within Charlbury and its surrounding areas. The council provides a platform for youth to
actively participate in local decision-making, manage a dedicated budget for youth initiatives, and lead
projects that benefit the community.
Objectives
● Youth Empowerment: To involve young people in the democratic process and local governance.
● Community Engagement: To represent the interests and voices of young people in Charlbury.
● Project Leadership: To plan and execute youth-led projects, events, and initiatives.
● Budget Management: To responsibly manage an annual budget allocated for youth activities.
